Parents set to find out children's primary school place

Parents of children across Derbyshire who are set to start primary school this September can find out their school place online on Thursday (April 16).

It will be available from 10.30am in the morning.

Parents are asked not to phone Call Derbyshire for information about their children's school place.

This is because advisers are busy managing the county council's coronavirus response and won't have more information but you could be preventing emergency calls getting through.

To find out, visit this webpage: https://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/education/schools/school-places/apply-for-a-school-place.aspx.
