Pedestrian injured at crossing in New Mills

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being clipped by a car. 

The road traffic collision occurred on the pedestrian crossing located at the junction of Church Lane and Marsh Lane in New Mills, at approximately 4.20pm on Thursday 8 September. 

The pedestrian has restricted eyesight and was with their guide dog. As they crossed the road, a dark coloured car clipped the pedestrian who sustained only minor injuries. 

Anyone with information, who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to contact police by calling 101 or online quoting reference 220005256934. 

The officer in this case is PC 2649 Moss.
