'Picnic in the Park' in Charlesworth

There's a chance for families to enjoy a picnic in the great outdoors and listen to music performed by young people in Charlesworth this weekend.

Youngsters from Dark Peak Music Foundation will be at Charlesworth Recreation Ground on Marple Road from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday (21 August).

Among those performing will be a Samba band led by Laszlo Palko.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

People are invited to bring their own picnic and chairs.

It will be followed by a family walk and treasure hunt around the Charlesworth countryside for those interested.
