Plans for a further two dormer bungalows to be built on the site of the former nursery and garden centre in Charlesworth have been turned down by planners.
The application for the site on Glossop Road in Charlesworth follows an earlier application for three new homes to be built, which was approved in November 2019, that are now nearing completion.
The latest proposal was for a further two homes but have been rejected as it is judged to not be on previously developed land and would harm the green belt.
In rejecting the proposals, planners also stated that the development would result in a net loss of biodiversity.
