Plans for Hadfield pub to become two homes

The Spinners Arms on Marsden Street in Hadfield.

An application has been submitted for a Hadfield pub to be converted into two homes. 

The proposals for the Spinners Arms on Marsden Street have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council. 

If approved the plans will see the existing extension demolished and work carried out to convert the property to one two bedroomed, a one four-bedromed home. 

In documents submitted with the application it states: “The public house from a financial point of view is not viable.” 

The plans are available to view on the council’s website www.highpeak.gov.uk
