Police appeal after incident near taxi rank in Glossop

Police have issued an appeal after an incident involving two men in Glossop town centre, in which one was "verbally and physically aggressive" to the other. 

It happened outside the Norfolk Arms pub, close to the taxi rank on Norfolk Street, at around 1am on Sunday 16 April. 

A man approached another man and became "verbally and physically aggressive" before being restrained by his partner and a member of the public, Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team said. 

They are appealing for any witnesses willing to provide a statement or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage to get in touch with police.
