Police to hold online chat to answer questions on abuse

Derbyshire Police will be holding another live online chat for people to talk and ask questions about abuse.

The session will be on Wednesday evening (18 August) from 8pm to 9pm.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said: "Abuse can take many different forms. If you or someone you know is suffering, come and ask us for help or advice.

"There is no such thing as a bad question. If you have a gut feeling, you might be the help that someone needs."

A team of detectives along with support workers from the Elm Foundation will be online to help.

To join the session, visit https://www.sli.do/ and use event code #YouAreNotAlone.

Questions can be asked anonymously and replied to privately where necessary.
