A hilly 10k charity run held in the Chatsworth estate will mark its 15th anniversary when it returns in September.
A firm-favourite in the calendars of both professional and amateur runners, the Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust Chatsworth 10k will take place on Sunday 17 September.
The event was established in 2008 to raise vital funds to support end of life care for patients across North Derbyshire.
Rachael Gee, fundraising and events coordinator at the hospice, said: “The support from participants is always astounding; we raised over £25,000 for local hospice care during the 2022 event, so we’re very much looking forward to seeing if we can match this total this year!”

Rob Woodhead, Director at BRM Solicitors, said: “We have worked with Helen’s Trust for several years, and we are delighted at the opportunity to be the sponsor of the 2023 Helen’s Trust Chatsworth 10k.”
Alongside the 10k course, there is also a 3k fun run for families to take part in, or people who may wish to take on a shorter distance run.
Register before 31 May to qualify for early bird discount and receive £2 off your entry fee to the 10k run. This includes chip-timed results, water on the course, a snack on completion, and a medal.
