Rescue after man trampled by cows

A man was injured after being trampled by cows whilst walking his dog in the fields between Hayfield and Peep O Day on Sunday (11 September). 

The volunteers from Kinder Mountain Rescue Team were called at around 5.20pm to assist the East Midlands Ambulance Service, who were treating the man at the scene. 

The team were able to stretcher the injured man to the EMAS ambulance waiting on the main road.
