
Here's our latest round-up of planning applications which have been submitted to and approved by High Peak Borough Council.
A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council, which include:
- Demolition of side garage and construction of new single storey extension at 3 The Grove, Hadfield, Glossop
- Proposed two storey office extension, with additional warehouse storage, improved and secure car park at Unit 8 Etherow Industrial Estate, Woolley Bridge Road, Hadfield, Glossop
- Extension of lower ground room at 24 Kinder Road, Hayfield

Plans approved
Plans that have been given the go ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include:
- Single storey porch extension to the front at 26 Riverside Close, Glossop
- Change of use from C3(a) use of rear area of Ground Floor to E(a) use to match front area of Ground Floor; installation of external access staircase; relocation and addition of rooflights at 138 High Street West, Glossop
- Brickwork porch and timber pergola structure at 27 The Crescent, New Mills
- Proposed single storey side extension at 16 Fauvel Road, Glossop
- Two storey rear extension at 21 Low Meadow, Whaley Bridge
- Single storey front extension to existing showroom for The Trike Guy Ltd, Capital Garage, High Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith
Plans for Hadfield pub to become two homes
An application has been submitted for a Hadfield pub to be converted into two homes.
The proposals for the Spinners Arms on Marsden Street have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council.
If approved the plans will see the existing extension demolished and work carried out to convert the property to one two bedroomed, a one four-bedroomed home.
In documents submitted with the application it states: “The public house from a financial point of view is not viable.”
