New applications
A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council, which include:
- Proposed single storey rear extension measuring 3.5m beyond the rear wall of the existing dwelling at 1 Outram Way, Chinley
- Conversion of existing residential outbuilding to a separate dwelling at 52 Oakleigh, Long Lane, Charlesworth
- Proposed single storey rear extension measuring 5m beyond rear wall of the original dwelling, at 23 Totley Green, Gamesley
- Extension to side of existing bungalow and loft conversion at 4 Jodrell Meadow, Whaley Bridge
- Proposed garage with shared party wall at 4 and 6 Haydn Fold, Charlesworth

Plans approved
Plans that have been given the go-ahead and granted permission by the borough council include:
- Two storey side extension over existing garage to form annexe at Tean, Start Lane, Whaley Bridge
- Loft conversion at 27 St Georges Road, New Mills
- Replacement of windows and door at 38 Old Cross Gallery, Church Street South, Glossop
- Formation of single storey extension to rear with associated decking at 13 Lee Head, Charlesworth
- Proposed Office Building (Class E) at Furness Vale Marina, Station Road, Furness Vale
