ROUND-UP: High Peak planning applications

We round up the latest planning applications submitted to, and approved by, High Peak Borough Council.

A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council recently, which include: 

  • Single storey extension to the rear and side elevation at 92 Simmondley Lane, Simmondley, Glossop 
  • Conversion of existing conservatory to single storey rear extension at 26, Horseshoe Avenue, Dove Holes 
  • Raise roof level of existing bungalow to create a two-storey dwelling at 20 Brookside Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith 
  • Proposed garages and under-ground store/utility at 1 Royle Avenue, Glossop 
  • Single storey rear extension at 8 Jordan Street, Glossop 
  • Construction of carport type structure at 31 Elmfield, Chapel-en-le-Frith 
  • Single storey extension at 62 Lea Head Cottage, Marple Road, Charlesworth 
  • Single storey rear extension to form conservatory space at 104 Oaks Cottage, Glossop Road, Gamesley, Glossop 
  • Proposed single storey extension to the front elevation at Oakfield View, Oakfield Road, Hadfield, Glossop 
  • Installation of small seating area onto an existing stone outbuilding at 13 Lake View, unnamed road from Calico Lane to Lakeview, Furness Vale 
  • New 2.7-metre-high palisade fencing, two new gas coolers and compressors at Tesco Stores, Bridgemont, Whaley Bridge. 

Plans approved 

Plans that have been given the go ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include: 

  • Garage conversion and rear balcony at 55 Godward Road, New Mills 
  • Proposed single storey rear extension, first floor extension over existing garage and partial garage conversion at 2 Brendon Close, Simmondley, Glossop 
  • Replacement existing dwelling with house and garage at Denhills, Ashbourne Lane, Chapel-en-le-Frith 
  • Proposed single storey rear extension and first floor side extension over existing garage at 5 Gorse Way, Glossop 
  • Two storey extension to the rear, part garage conversion at 3 Southview Road, Glossop
