ROUND-UP: High Peak planning applications

Here's our latest round-up of planning applications submitted to, and approved by, High Peak Borough Council.

New applications 

A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council, which include: 

  • Demolition of existing single storey rear extension and construction of a replacement single storey rear extension at Wilshaw, Whitehough Head Lane, Whitehough 
  • Replace existing single storey extension with new single storey extensions and alterations to windows and doors at 39 New Mills Road, Birch Vale 
  • Alterations to existing garage at 39 New Mills Road, Birch Vale 
  • Mixed use building to house and lamb sheep and to store fodder and implements at Johns Croft, Bowden Lane, Bowden, Chapel-en-le-Frith              
  • Proposed construction of industrial unit at Unit 3, Gasworks Yard, New Road, Whaley Bridge 
  • Extension and new dormer to front of property at 16A Cowbrook Avenue, Glossop 

Plans approved 

Plans that have been given the go-ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include: 

  • Two storey side extension at 1 The Avenue, Hadfield, Glossop 
  • Single storey rear extension at 9 Winnats Close, Glossop 
  • A lean-to single-glazed glass structure at 9 Horderns Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith 

The plans are available to view on the council’s website at www.highpeak.gov.uk

Other plans

A decision on proposals for Glossop's Market Hall has been deferred by councillors who want to see more information.
