We've rounded up the latest planning applications submitted to, and approved by, High Peak Borough Council.

A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council, which include:

Single storey side extension at 64 Horse Fair Avenue, Chapel-en-le-Frith
Single storey rear extension at 9 Elnor Lane, Whaley Bridge
Side extension with balcony, dormer extensions and rebuild existing attached garage at 13 Rose Mount, Watburn Road, New Mills
Proposed annex and associated driveway alterations at 57 Whitle Road, New Mills
Conversion of existing dwelling to form two dwellings at Elizabeth Cottage, Woodseats Lane, Charlesworth,
Re-submission of application for change of use of an agricultural building to one dwelling house at Stodhart Farm, Hayfield Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith
Re-build outbuilding at 10 Slatelands Road, Glossop

Plans approved

Plans that have been given the go ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include:

Proposed garages and under-ground store/utility at 1 Royle Avenue, Glossop
Engineering and associated landscaping to retain bankside at 10 Hartington Drive, Chinley
Change of Use from E(c)(I) to Sur Generis Hot Food Takeaway etc, Formerly A5 at 131, Buxton Road, Whaley Bridge
Rooflights to stables at Bowden Hall, Bowden Lane, Bowden, Chapel-en-le-Frith
Proposed single storey rear extension to replace existing conservatory at 3 Temple Avenue, Padfield, Glossop

Five new homes planned for Whaley

Plans have been submitted for a bungalow and four three-bedroomed houses to be built in Whaley Bridge.

The application for the site at 42 Elnor House is to demolish the existing stone bungalow and garage.

This would be replaced by a three bedroomed bungalow and four semi-detached three-bedroomed homes.

The proposals also include drives and garages for the new properties.
