ROUND-UP: Planning applications in High Peak

Here's our latest round-up of planning applications submitted to, and approved by, High Peak Borough Council.

New applications 

A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council, which include: 

  • Listed building consent for conservation repair works to the existing house and a contemporary extension at 22 The Laurels, New Mills Road, Hayfield 
  • New entrances to the front and rear elevation as enabling works prior to a Change of Use application at 33 35 Glossop Mental Health Project, Charles Street, Glossop 
  • Single storey kitchen extension to the rear of 50 Old Road, Whaley Bridge 
  • General purpose agricultural building on land to the rear of Stodhart Farm, Hayfield Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith 

The plans are available to view on the council’s website www.highpeak.gov.uk

Plans approved 

Plans that have been given the go ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include: 

  • Demolition of existing UPVC rear extension. Construction of new rear/side extension at 112 Lee Mount, Charlestown Road, Glossop 
  • Proposed single storey rear extension at 26 The Croft, Hadfield, Glossop 
  • Repair and conservation of the Jodrell Arms Hotel in Whaley Bridge with the ground floor will be retained as public bar with residential accommodation to the first and second floor. 
  • Two storey side extension at 15 Hall Meadow Road, Glossop
