St Margaret's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Gamesley is holding a family fun day to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
School Business Officer Chloe Sammarco wanted to organise an event for the children at The Federation of All Saints & Saint Margaret's CVA, Kinderview Children's Day Nursery and the local community.
The event will take place on Saturday 21 May between midday and 4pm.
There will be a variety of activities taking place for all the family.
There will be a family colour run on the field at the back of the school on Glossop Road, which will be £4 per person or a special rate of £12 for a family. Each person will receive a white t-shirt and glasses. To book a place, phone 01457 855818 or 01457 852756 or email enquiries@mar.srscmat.co.uk. Participants need to fill out a registration form and a disclaimer.
There will also be rides, a bouncy castle, lots of stalls, pony rides, beat the goalie, food, afternoon cream teas and stocks to throw a sponge at your favourite teacher!
