Seasonal fun in Glossopdale schools

Schools throughout Glossopdale have been marking the festive period in different ways before finishing for the holidays.

Teachers at St Charles Catholic Primary School, Hadfield, never knew who was going to burst into their classroom next.

A bunch of ‘naughty elves’ were on the loose and they were running around the school causing havoc.

But because it was Christmas it added to the festive festivities, which included a Nativity play and pupils helping governors to decorate the school’s Christmas tree.

Meanwhile, All Saints and St Margaret’s Catholic Primary School children made their own personal cribs to celebrate the birth of Christ.

And Padfield Community Primary School performed their Nativity play in their bubbles, with parents able to see them on DVD.
