Share your seaside memories

Glossopdale folk are being invited to take a trip down memory lane by delving into holidays of a bygone era at an event this weekend.

Hosted by Glossop Tours, 'Seaside Memories' will see people delve into past trips and share their holiday memories - from charabangs and novelty postcards to donkey rides and sticks of Blackpool Rock.

There will also be a visual and hands-on presentation of the Great British holiday, as well as engaging activities for everyone.

It's taking place at Whitfield Youth and Community Centre on Ebenezer Street from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday (15 February). Doors will open at 12.45pm.

The cost is £3 each or £7 for a family (two adults and three children).
