Special 'visitor' to Whitfield House for Queen's Jubilee celebrations

Residents of Whitfield House are getting ready to celebrate the jubilee with a special 'visitor'.

A model of Her Majesty the Queens has been created by keyworker Lynne Timothy and resident Irene Hunter.

It is all part of celebrations that have seen the communal areas decorated in preparation and a Jubilee party taking place on 31 May.

Residents at the 45 flat complex in Glossop will celebrate with an afternoon tea, entertainment and Pimm’s and lemonade.

Whitfield House is run by South Yorkshire Housing Association - a not-for-profit housing association that was named landlord of the year in 2021.
