Friends of Hadfield Hall are holding their Spring Craft Fair on Saturday (19 March) between 10am and 2pm.
It’ll take place in the Hall above the Library and in the Community Room below the Library, which is at the junction of Railway Street and Station Road.
A wide range of goods by local crafters and makers will be on sale.
The range will include Easter wreaths, plants and chocolates, wood turned items, soap and candles, baked goods, silk scarves and paintings, bunting and assorted fabric, plant holders, keepsakes and keyrings, personalised glasses, quilts and sewn items, and more.
The group is also planning an Open Art Show for their 10th anniversary. It was postponed in 2020 and 2021 because of lockdown.
It’s being held between Saturday 28 May and Saturday 4 June, and will run alongside Derbyshire Open Arts 2022 with artists’ studios open at venues throughout the area.
Work by children and adults will be on display at both Hadfield Hall and The Craft Barn on Station Road.
There will be an extended programme this year including workshops, a Pro Loco outdoor painting competition, and talks by Michael and Ghislaine Howard. Everyone will be welcome both to submit entries and come to view the work.
