The much loved Glossop Grill fest is back for its tenth year on Sunday 27th August, Hadfield Cricket Club.
The festival consists of three bars, live music, food vendors and the iconic BBQ competition. The competition includes 8 local teams who will compete in over 5 different rounds to find the grand champion. Teams often have excess samples to be handed out to the public, the gates open at 12pm and the first round of judging will commence at 1pm.
As well as this, the event will be hosting a Reubens Retreat Raffle and a Glossopdale foodbank tombola.
Event organiser Gaz Edwards – “The event has grown in popularity hugely since covid so we’ve gone even bigger for our tenth year with more stalls, more vendors, more music and more for the kids. We’re looking forward to another great day as long as the weather behaves It’s great to be able to use the day to raise some funds and awareness for two fantastic local causes as well as promoting so many amazing local businesses”
