With the Omicron variant of Covid-19 prompting changes to the wearing of masks and travel restrictions, we have been looking at the latest figures for the borough.
In the High Peak, the most up-to-date figures available have revealed that the number of Covid cases has fallen by 23.7 per cent.
According to Public Health England data, the rate is 277.4 cases per 100,000 people for the seven days up to 1 December.
The figure across Derbyshire is 442.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Across the High Peak Borough Council area, there were 257 cases of Covid, a fall of 100, while across the county cases rose by 58 to 3488.
In neighbouring Tameside, the figures for the same period show 402.9 cases per 100,000 with 915 cases.
Vaccination figures, which go up to and include 5 December, show that in the High Peak 88.1 per cent of adults and children aged 12 and over have received their first dose, with 82 per cent having also had their second dose.
In Derbyshire, the figure is slightly lower with 88 per cent for the first dose and 81.8 per cent the second.
In Tameside, 80.2 per cent of people aged 12 and over have had their first dose and 72.6 per cent the second.
