The latest planning applications in the High Peak

A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council, which include: 

  • Resubmission for a detached house with associated car parking and garden on land adjacent to 70 Surrey Street, Glossop 
  • Two storey rear extension at Vale House, Dinting Lane, Dinting, Glossop 
  • Rear porch, roof lights and patio doors at Carr Nook Farm, Briargrove Road, Birch Vale 
  • Refurbishment of No. 6 Ingham Almshouse at 6 St James Square, New Mills 
  • Conversion of existing stable and ancillary storage buildings into Dog Daycare at Rosemere Farm, Dolly Lane, Buxworth 

Plans Approved 

Plans that have been given the go ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include: 

  • Removal of glass from two windows and replaced with aluminium louvres at the British Telecom Telephone Exchange on Philip Howard Road, Glossop 
  • First floor extension over existing single storey side extension, at 38 Fairy Bank Crescent, Hayfield 
  • Replacement of existing extension with a new extension at 103 Kinder Road, Hayfield 
  • Construction of new 3 bed house with integral garage at 3 Hall Farm Close, Whaley Bridge 
  • Single storey extension to front elevation and new structural openings with windows to side elevation at 19 Fernley House, Simmondley New Road, Simmondley, Glossop 
  • Demolition of rear conservatory and construction of new single storey rear extension at 4 Hartington Drive, Chinley
