The Powsers Mountaineering Club, based in Glossop, complete a charity walk every summer to support a national or local cause.
This year they have chosen Mummy's Star, a local charity and the only one in the UK and Ireland dedicated to supporting women and their families diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or within 12 months of giving birth.
The charity walk takes place this Saturday (2 July), departing at 9am from Bowden Bridge car park in Hayfield.
It's a challenging 23km circuit over the Kinder Scout plateau ascending 981m (3300ft) in total. They have chosen this route and title to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Kinder Mass Trespass of 24 April 1932.
Pete Wallroth, CEO and founder of Mummy's Star, will be at the start to see the team on their way.
