The return of Tintwistle's Christmas Market

Festive fun will be on the agenda in Tintwistle this weekend as the village hosts its Christmas Market, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

After a Covid-induced break last year, the extravaganza returns on Sunday (12 December) to the Sexton Street playing fields and car park.

Organised by the parish council, there will be more than 20 stall holders as well as food and drink provided by local businesses.

Due to licensing regulations, there will be a 20p or donation entry fee.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the funding of Tintwistle's new community centre.
