Volunteers donated thousands of hours of their time to support High Peak's four mountain rescue teams in 2021.
Between them, they were called out more than 300 times, sometimes jointly, over the 12 months dealing with a wide range of incidents from missing persons to helping those who had suffered injury or a medical emergency.
It is not just walkers that the teams have assisted but all those who take to the great outdoors including climbers, horse riders, mountain bikers and paragliders.
Edale MRT have put together the figures for 2021, showing exactly what the year involved for their volunteers who between them donated a staggering 10,861 hours of their time.
As well as attending 160 incidents, the Edale MRT also attended 79 training sessions and 42 equipment maintenance sessions. Find out more at www.facebook.com/edalemountainrescue/
