Tintwistle's Santa Dash will return this year

The Santa Dash is returning to Tintwistle – and this year it's bigger than ever!

The event is being organised by Tintwistle Athletic AFC and you can walk, jog or run.

It’s taking place on Saturday 4 December between 2pm and 6pm.

The route takes in West Drive, Speedwell, Conduit Street, New Road, Torside Street, Woodlands and South Close.

Entry fee is £10 for adults and £5 for children, with the proceeds going to the football club.

As well as the dash, there will be a chance to visit Santa and hot food and festive stalls.

Participants must register to take part. More details on how to sign up will be announced soon.

Organisers are promising a real festive event with mince pies, mulled wine and a brass band playing carols.
