Citizens Advice Derbyshire Districts, which covers High Peak, has been extra busy on a range of issues during the coronavirus pandemic.
They have helped more than 600 people with energy advice, with total savings reaching just over £303,000.
In a recently published report, the service says it is working hard to provide vital energy advice.
It adds: “We are open and ready to help the people of Derbyshire face the growing financial challenges. Be assured our friendly advisers are on hand to make sure they find the best solutions.
“Don’t leave it too late to seek help, you will be surprised to find how much you may be able to save.”
The top issues the team have been able to help with recently cover general energy-saving tips.
The others are: tariff switching, warm home discount, access to energy grants and energy efficiency.
