Tools stolen from van on High Peak road

Police are appealing for witnesses after tools were stolen from inside a van in the Birch Vale area. 

A blue-coloured Ford Transit was broken into sometime between 11.30pm and 11.40pm on Tuesday night (25 May). 

It happened on Sycamore Road. 

Police believe the suspects made off in a white-coloured car - possibly a V/W Golf - which was last seen heading towards Hayfield. 

Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage which covers the area at the relevant time is asked to contact police by calling 101, or report it online at https://www.derbyshire.police.uk/contactus, quoting occurrence reference 21000289490. The officer in the case is PC 2757 Hodnett.
