More than 50 tractors, a wagon and a motorbike passed through Glossop as part of a memorial run for a farmer.
Harvey Mitchell, a farmer from Poynton, passed away on December 5 from cancer.
Each driver paid £20 to join the drive, raising money for The Christie charity, who took care of Harvey throughout his diagnosis.
Ferguson Roylance, the organiser of the remembrance event, hoped to raise £1,000, but donations from the public saw the total reach £2,197.
Funds will be used to support the hospice’s specialised services, including pain and symptom control, end of life care and rehabilitation.
The drivers met in Woodford, travelling through Poynton, where Harvey’s wife and family stood, along with a several hundred people, all socially distanced.
They then journeyed through High Lane, Disley, New Mills, Hayfield, Glossop, Gee Cross, before finishing in Hazel Grove.
Along the route, people lined the streets to watch and wave to the passing vehicles.
Ferguson said: “We all hope we’ve done Harvey proud and shown his family how loved he was.”
