A local business is donating trees to brighten up the community.
Glossop Coal and Log Supplies was planning to sell Christmas trees at their planned Christmas markets.
But due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the festive markets had to be cancelled.
The business has now decided to sell the trees at Old Glossop Cricket Club, based at Manor Park Road, instead.
For every 10 Christmas trees sold, Glossop Coal and Log Supplies will be donating a tree to be planted in the local community after Christmas.
They now want residents to nominate a nursery, school, care home etc which they feel deserves a tree.
