Police are investigating after two Ford cars were stolen during the burglary of a house in Hadfield.
Between 9.30pm on Monday evening (16 August) and 7.30am the following day, burglars broke into the house on Pear Tree Close.
They stole a Ford Fiesta and a Ford S-Max, both white in colour, from the driveway of the home as the owners slept upstairs.
The Fiesta was found the following day in the Hyde area of Tameside, however, the S-Max - the registration for which begins MA69 - has not yet been recovered.
Anyone who may have CCTV that covers the Pear Tree Close area, or may have seen the Ford S-Max, is asked to contact Derbyshire police using any of the below methods, including reference 21*462223:
