Two men have been charged with allegedly stealing a bundle of power tools from a store after they were stopped by officers in the Chapel-en-le-Frith area.
The men were stopped on the A6 at around 5.45pm on Thursday 8 October by Derbyshire Constabulary's roads crime officers, working with local teams.
They discovered a large number of drills and tools in the vehicle, and also found that the driver was disqualified from driving and uninsured and both men were arrested.
The tools were suspected as being stolen from the B&Q store on Peak Drive in Derby.
Ryan Rafferty, 26, of Freckleton Avenue, Manchester, was charged with theft and traffic offences, while Denis Smith, 40, also of Freckleton Avenue in Manchester, was charged with theft.
They are due to appear before magistrates at Chesterfield Justice Centre in November.
