Another community speed watch event has been held in Little Hayfield.

The Hadfield CSW Volunteer Team took part in the exercise on the A624 outside the Lantern Pike pub on Wednesday afternoon (10 August), between 1.45pm and 2.45pm.

The speed limit on this stretch of the road is 30 mph.

A total of 1,058 vehicles went by the team in both directions during the hour the event took place.

On this occasion, only three of those vehicles were recorded driving above the speed limit at more than 35 miles per hour.

Those three drivers will now receive a letter of advice from Derbyshire Police about their speeding in Little Hayfield.
