Warm welcome to Tintwistle

People setting up home in Tintwistle are getting a warm welcome from the parish council and being told where to go for information about the village.

Chair Cllr Marianne Stevenson said: “Cllr Natasha Naz runs the Village Store and you will find Cllr Emily Scriven behind the counter at Pixie Bakes.

“If they don’t know, you can be sure they know someone who does.”

Tintwistle’s population is growing rapidly due to the Willow Gardens development at the bottom of New Road.
