Whaley Bridge junior parkrun is back – but with limits to numbers to ensure it is Covid compliant.
The first event will take place on Sunday May 2 but will be for youngsters aged four to 10-years-old only.
Carolyn Whittle, Whaley Bridge junior parkrun Event Director, said: “We are really looking forward to Whaley Bridge junior parkrun re-starting because it is excellent for the health and wellbeing of our juniors.
“It is such a great asset to bring our community together in the fresh air, to run, walk or volunteer.”
The team is looking ahead to when they can welcome back the runners aged 11-14 and with that in mind is looking for more volunteers to join the team.
