Residents in Glossopdale are being made aware of a number of forthcoming Covid-19 vaccine clinics at Glossop Cricket Club.
Anyone aged 18 or over who is registered to a GP practice in Glossopdale can attend the clinics, with no appointment or ID required.
These are the confirmed dates and details:
- Tuesday 3 August from 5.30pm to 7.30pm - appointments and walk-ins for people receiving their first Pfizer dose or second dose of Pfizer or AstraZeneca if it's been at least eight weeks since the first
- Tuesday 10 August from 1.30pm to 7.30pm - appointments and walk-ins for people receiving their first Pfizer dose
- Tuesday 17 August from 1.30pm to 7.30pm - appointments and walk-ins for people receiving their first Pfizer dose
- Tuesday 24 August from 5.30pm to 7.30pm - appointments and walk-ins for people receiving their first Pfizer dose
- Tuesday 31 August from 5.30pm to 7.30pm - appointments and walk-ins for people receiving their first Pfizer dose
Anyone eligible who wants to book an appointment at one of the clinics can do so via www.tamesideandglossop.nhsvaccinations.co.uk or by calling their GP practice.
Glossop Health Team say that second dose clinics will be arranged eight weeks after first doses were administered and the patients this applies to will receive a text message with an appointment date and time. The clinics will also be posted in the Glossop Health Team group on Facebook.
Meanwhile, there will also be a pop-up vaccine clinic at Lambgates Health Centre in Hadfield on Saturday 14 August. More details here.
