Fast-food giant KFC is looking at opening up to 500 new sites across the country, with Glossop, Buxton and Stalybridge all included on the list.
The UK website for the firm confirmed they are on the lookout for sites to accommodate both drive-thru locations and restaurants.
They said: "We have bold ambitions to grow our restaurant estate across the UK and Ireland.
“We have different formats and designs that are suitable for all locations.”
For Glossop and Stalybridge, they are looking for sites of 0.3 acres and above that could be new drive-thru outlets. They will consider vacant sites and existing buildings to convert.
In Buxton, they are looking for a site for a new restaurant and have different criteria as it can incorporated into most existing buildings.
Full details for landlords, developers and agents interested are available at www.kfc.co.uk/developments
KFC has had restaurants in both Glossop and Buxton in the past so it would mark a return to the towns for the chain.
