Witness appeal to 'altercation' in Glossop town centre

Police are appealing for witnesses to an 'altercation' between two men in Glossop town centre. 

It happened at around 2.45pm on Friday 4 June, close to the bus stop outside the Market Arcade on High Street West. 

Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "It is alleged that there was an altercation and assault involving a younger male and an older male on the street. It is believed that a member of the public has had to intervene in the incident.

"If you witnessed this happening or if you have any information that can assist with this enquiry, and are willing or prepared to provide a statement then please contact Derbyshire Constabulary."
