Work on Glossop heritage halls continues

Sunday morning traffic ground to a halt as a huge crane arrived in Glossop town centre.

It was part of High Peak Borough Council’s £1m-plus Glossop Halls’ huge regeneration scheme.

Contractors in a cradle were hoisted on to the town hall roof to carry out their latest inspection.

With the checks finished and everything found to be fine, the men and the crane then pulled out of town.
