A thief pretended to be a customer and stole jewellery valued at £1,200 from an Oldham jewellers.
At around 3.45pm on Tuesday, January 2, officers were called to reports of a theft at a H Samuels at Town Square Shopping Centre in Oldham.
The suspect entered the shop posing as a customer and then reached into a glass cabinet, grabbing three gold chains and ran off towards the high street.
The suspect is believed to have taken property to the value of £1,200 and no arrests have been made.
Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as officers believe that they could assist with further enquiries relating to this incident.
Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises this man or if anyone has any further information that could assist police with their investigation.
