A 27-year-old man from Oldham has been charged with 22 different crimes, including threatening a security officer with a knife at a shop in Ashton.
Cameron Bland, of Royle Close, was charged with robbery after confronting a security officer with the weapon at Asda on Cavendish Street, before making off with a TV from the store last Wednesday (30 October).
Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Tameside North team and police in Oldham combined to identify Bland and he was arrested the following day.
He has been remanded in custody to Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court, where he is due to appear today (Monday).
Bland has also been charged with 21 other offences, including four other counts of robbery, six counts of theft, assaulting a police officer, another assault, three counts of public order offences, two counts of criminal damage and four counts of possessing a bladed article in a public place.
