The death of a 29-year-old man, who was found with stab wounds in a crashed car in Oldham, is not being treated as suspicious by police.
Ajmal Khan was found with fatal injuries on Greengate Street, in the early hours of Sunday, September 22.
The warehouse worker from Longsight was taken to Royal Oldham Hospital but died from his injuries.
After a police investigation was launched, a 47-year-old woman was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
However, Greater Manchester Police confirmed on Friday evening that she has been released with no further action and the investigation has now been closed.
A GMP statement read: "A murder investigation that was launched by police after a 29-year-old man died following a collision on Greengate Street in Oldham on Sunday 22 September 2019 has now been closed.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file will be passed to the coroner.
"A 47-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action."
A file of evidence will now be passed to Rochdale Coroner's Court for a further inquest, after an initial inquest hearing in October had to be adjourned because of the ongoing police investigation.
