Meet the newest, and definitely one of the cutest, members of Oldham Mountain Rescue Team.

His name is Ace - a 10-week-old collie - and he's already destined to become the community's Ace of Hearts.

With his handler Rick Beswick, the adorable pup will be starting the intensive training process to become a Search Dog.

OMRT leader Rob Tortoishell said: “Rick had been an active team member for more than 10 years now and this will be his first time training a search dog.

"It’s a long process and we’ll keep you all updated along the way. But for now we wish both Rick and Ace the best of luck!"
