Oldham charity's Three Peaks of Saddleworth walk is back for 2023

Grab your diaries, walking boots and rucksacks, and get ready for Saturday 1 July - that's when the ever-popular original Three Peaks of Saddleworth will be returning for the seventh year.

Since its inception in 2017, the event has raised more than £70,000 for Mahdlo Youth Zone and has created countless opportunities and provided life-changing support for Oldham's young people and their families.

Claire Crossfield, Fundraising Manager, said: "We would love to see even more people walking again this year, and as always, your four-legged friends are welcome too. For the very first time in its history, we mixing things up! But don’t panic, it’s the same route, the same team looking after you, the same yummy food, the same amazing company the only thing we cannot guarantee is the weather. So what’s the difference?

"We know how challenging it is for charities to raise funds at the moment, so to do our bit to help, we’re opening up the ‘original 3 Peaks of Saddleworth’ to other charities for their supporters to take part and raise funds for their causes too."

Early bird registration is now open, for the following options:

· £30 to walk and raise funds for Mahdlo

· £40 to walk and raise funds for another charity, rising to £45 after 1 April

· £40 just to walk, rising to £45 after 1 April
