Oldham were rewarded for their excellent 48-12 win against Whitehaven with a second-round 1895 Cup draw which pairs them with fellow Betfred League 1 side Doncaster at the Vestacare Stadium.
Date for the tie and all other relevant details will be announced in due course.
Winners of the tie will be in the last eight and only two games from Wembley.
Oldham qualified for the last 16 with a superb performance against Betfred League 1 leaders Whitehaven, running in eight tries with an expansive brand of rugby.
Watched by the RFL's chief executive Ralph Rimmer, they played wing-to-wing rugby to register tries by Danny Langtree, man-of-the-match Ritchie Hawkyard, Matty Wilkinson (2), Kyran Johnson, Jack Holmes (2) and Paul Crook, who kicked beautifully to convert all eight tries from different angles and distances.
Crook also carried off the Champagne Moment award for backing up on the inside and taking Langtree's final pass to score the try that helped him to a personal points haul of 20.
