Police seize car after driver caught without licence and insurance

Car seized by police.

Police in Oldham seized a car after spotting it being driven erratically in Glodwick.

Officers stopped the vehicle which was travelling along Roundthorn Road and spoke to the driver.

The driver confirmed having no driving licence and no insurance. The vehicle was seized under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.

A spokesperson for Oldham police said: “Driving without insurance and a valid licence is a serious offense that puts others at risk.

“Hopefully, this sends a strong message about road safety and legal compliance.”
