Student pursues passion for wildlife photography

Another of Azad's amazing work.

A Chadderton school is proudly showcasing the breathtaking work of one of its talented young students.

Azad, a pupil from The Radclyffe School, is quickly gaining recognition for his passion and skill in wildlife photography.

What began as simple walks through nature has now blossomed into a rewarding hobby that allows him to capture the stunning beauty of the wild.

Azad’s interest in photography developed organically after a series of nature walks sparked his curiosity.

“I loved going on walks and seeing different types of wildlife, and I figured I could take my camera along with me,” Azad explained.

“Then it started to become my hobby.”

Azad believes that the most rewarding aspect is being fully immersed in the moment.

“I enjoy just watching wildlife through my camera as it really lets me appreciate how beautiful the wild is,” he reflected.

Among Azad’s proudest achievements is a striking shot of a kingfisher in mid-flight.

“I had been waiting for several hours to capture that perfect moment,” Azad recalled.

“In my local park, there are only one or two of them flying about, and they are extremely fast. It felt amazing to finally get the shot.”

However, achieving such success doesn’t come easily.

Azad has learned that patience is key to getting the perfect photograph.

“Moving around too much or being loud can be a problem, so it’s best to just wait quietly and observe the wildlife,” he advised.

While Azad doesn’t expect his photography to have a significant impact on the world, he hopes it may inspire others to explore their own creative potential.

“This is a fun hobby,” he said modestly.

“My advice for beginners is simple – having expensive gear doesn’t mean you’re better.

"You can still get good shots with an affordable camera.”

The Radclyffe School is proud to support Azad’s photographic journey and is excited to showcase his work, which highlights both the natural beauty of the local surroundings and the dedication of the students to their passions.
