Mossley have made versatile midfielder Michael Brewster their first summer signing.
He joins from Stalybridge Celtic, who he captained to a mid-table finish in the club’s first season at Step 4.
Speaking to Mossley’s website, Lilywhites manager David Fish said, “It was important to add energy and experience in midfield and leadership to the group. Michael provides both in abundance.”
“He has loads of experience having played at this level and higher for 10 years, he’s got proven quality and has captained many of the sides he’s played for.”
Brewster, 28, began his career at Oldham Athletic, before spells with St Mirren, FC United, Southport, Atherton Collieries, Marine and current NPL champions, Radcliffe.
He was also captain of Ashton United under previous manager, Michael Clegg.
It promises to be a busy summer at Seel Park, with five players already confirmed as leaving, including club legend Andy Keogh, who departs after almost 350 appearances.
Attacking midfielder Jack Bannister joins the influx of new players at Stalybridge, with Kane Hickman, Josh Dickin and Ben Darby also moving onto pastures new.
