Former Hyde United captain Tony Steenson has arranged for a charity football match to take place at Ewen Fields on Sunday, August 8.
Tony, who led the Tigers in the early 80s, has arranged the game in a bid to raise funds for the Hyde United Community Fund and Willow Wood Hospice.
The teams will comprise of well-known celebrities from Coronation St, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, local DJ personality, Mike Sweeney, ex-professional players such as Denis Irwin and the Tigers legendary winger, George Oghani.
All admission will be via donations on the day and there will be a fundraising raffle for travel vouchers donated by Jet2 holidays.
Full Social Club & Teabar facilities will be open.
